For one of the leading and most renowned Swiss private banking groups in wealth management, we are looking for an analytically strong and graduate-oriented personality as a financial accountant. In this challenging role, you manage both national and international companies and contribute directly to the integrity and efficiency of global financial operations. This is your job

• Finance & Group: Independent management of the general ledger and financial reporting for the Swiss core bank and related national and international subsidiaries.
• Financial statements & Reporting: Preparation of monthly financial reports, local statutory financial statements and Group reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure and monitor the internal control system (ICS), prepare VAT bills according to local regulations and implement new internal and external accounting standards.
• Corporate Activities: Active support in strategic corporate activities such as the creation of new entities, acquisitions or liquidations, as well as carrying out analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement positions.
• Interfaces & IT: Cross-divisional cooperation with the tax, controlling, IT and payroll departments as well as active participation in process optimizations and SAP initiatives (R/3, S/4HANA).

This is what you bring with you

• Education: Completed higher education in finance and accounting (e.g. Federal Law). graduated:r auditor:in / expert:in in accounting and controlling) or a business studies with a focus on finance.
• Experience: At least 3 years of in-depth professional experience in financial accounting, ideally acquired within the banking sector or financial services industry.
• Expertise & IT: Well-founded, proven knowledge of international accounting in accordance with IFRS as well as a secure handling of MS Office (SAP R/3 or S/4HANA knowledge are a strong advantage).
• Languages: Flowing and stylish German and English skills in words and writing for the international environment.
• Personality: Strong analytical skills, an exact working style and a proactive, team-oriented working style.
