Reporting to the VP, CFO Global Cocoa, this position is the right hand of the VP, Cocoa Manufacturing, driving the decision-making process by focusing on the financial performance of operations as well as supply chain.
It aims at originating and implementing growth opportunities and value for Global Cocoa on manufacturing costs and operational efficiency.
It also supports financial reporting, planning and analysis, including “make or buy” deep dives.

- Act as strategic advisory interface to the business and management for Customer Supply & Development (CSD) related matters, and specifically acting as right hand for the VP, Cocoa Manufacturing, in close cooperation with CFO CSD and CFO Global Cocoa

- Besides the global focus, the Finance BP CSD is also directly responsible for the Cocoa Region Western Europe, supported by 3 direct reports
- Provide financial insights before and during the global S process, specifically on defining the most cost-efficient production location globally and comparing to external product purchases (make or buy decision)
- Lead the creation of cost data repository for logistic and factory costs to always take decisions based on latest information
- Support capacity expansion projects and footprint studies
- Maintaining the End-to-End Liquor Profitability model to determine the right benchmark for future business cases and enable having a Global Cocoa profitability consolidated view
- Create financial transparency in cross-functional cost efficiency projects from E2E perspective (Sourcing, Logistics, Manufacturing, R&D, Pricing)
- Given the importance of raw material costs, high focus on yields (beans, pressing) and waste reduction.
- Ensure yields are up to date with the risk teams for proper commodity hedging

- Lead Global Cocoa CSD Finance team – consists of having the right profiles in the role and ensuring that they bring the right financial understanding to local site management team via coaching, developing and challenging
- Minimum bachelor’s in economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar. Master’s degree is a plus Fluency in English a must; French language skills would be an asset
