Tasks
- Everyday work takes place where people, vehicles and infrastructure meet. This is where your work starts: You support employees in ensuring that jobs, processes and activities at VBZ are safely designed and comply with legal requirements.
- You advise and support the employer, the management and the line managers in the fulfilment of their responsibility for safety and health protection in the company.
- By leading the SiKo Group, you will have a direct impact across all areas of the company. Close cooperation with the Safety Management System (SMS), Security (ZUKO), Occupational Health Management (BGM), environmental managers, fire protection and external security coordination agencies is part of your area of responsibility.
- In addition, you initiate organization-wide training formats, develop safety standards in a targeted manner and ensure that findings from event investigations, operational tours, audits and the external exchange of experience are consistently transferred into sustainable improvements within the VBZ.
Profile
- Completed higher technical examination as a safety specialist EKAS or as a safety engineer EKAS.
- Sound expertise in handling hazardous materials.
- Experience in training, instruction or auditing of security topics.
- Understand operational processes in technical or physical working environments.
- Very good knowledge with MS365, with occupational safety software safely (or similar), with the training software Rise 360 (or similar), with the § software Lexplus (or similar), etc.
- Safety culture is not only rule-based for you, but teamwork. Rules create clarity, you demand these, explain them understandably and practically.
- You deal with resistance constructively, objectively and remain solution-oriented in discussions.
