- The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich treats and cares for mentally ill people of all ages. Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is a modern, supra-regional competence, assessment and treatment center with a university connection. It ensures outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care for adult offenders and is responsible for minors and young adults who are in juvenile criminal proceedings and/or are in a youth measure. In addition, forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy provides suitable specialist staff for psychiatric/psychological reports, risk assessments and case management as well as for risk assessments and consultations and makes an important contribution to prevention. For the Center for Inpatient Forensic Therapy at the Rheinau location, we are looking for a specialist psychologist for neuropsychology by appointment 60% - 100% Your tasks
- Independent implementation, evaluation and interpretation of neuropsychological tests on forensic psychiatric patients
- Preparation of neuropsychological findings and reports for the attention of various departments of forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy
- If necessary, psychodiagnostic / test psychological examinations
- Internal training, peer consultation and intervision on neurospsychological issues
- Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions
- Professional and timely reporting, documentation and correspondence
- If necessary, neuropsychological treatments in individual and/or group settings
- Completed psychology degree (Master or equivalent)
- Specialist title in neuropsychology FSP/EAN
- Interest in neuropsychological issues in psychiatric illnesses
- High professional competence and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Analytical thinking skills, the ability to self-structure and strong written communication skills
- Flexible work arrangements with a high level of personal responsibility (e.g. home office)
- Cross-departmental work with insight into different forensic areas and activities (assessments, inpatient and outpatient care, prison care)
