Full description
Around three hundred and forty pupils attend the school Hirschengraben in the old city centre of Zurich. We have a kindergarten, four primary classes and nine secondary classes. The classes of the primary school are taught in age-mixed groups. The new concept of talent and talent promotion (https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/en/bildung/volksschule/support-foerderung/begabungsfoerderung.html) will be introduced in stages at all elementary schools in the city of Zurich from school year 2023/24.
Our school is looking for our age-mixed primary classes by 1. August 2026 Reinforcement.
Tasks
- They teach in a strengthening-oriented manner in the existing gifted and gifted promotion of the school and support the teachers in the implementation of individualizing teaching.
- A cooperative cooperation with the primary team, external specialists, parents and the authorities is a matter of course for you. They advise school team and parents dealing with gifts.
- They participate in school conferences, in-school training and team events and actively participate in school development in order to advance the BBF area.
- They design the internal school pull-out program (POP) in the BBF team and teach children with high skills and great interests in various areas.
- They supervise appropriate learning materials and BBF resources.
Profile
- Teaching diploma (EDK recognized) for elementary school
- Preferably a CAS in integrated talent and talent promotion (CAS BBF) or the willingness to complete this training immediately
- Knowledge of the forms of educational, gift-specific diagnostics
- Experience in teaching and school development with involvement of the school team and parents
- Of course in dealing with heterogeneity and integration
- Enjoyment of working with children and individual, strengthening-oriented talent promotion and talented promotion as well as the willingness to further develop one’s own teaching
