Can users at SRG immediately find what data there is, what it means and where it comes from? By establishing company-wide data governance, we create precisely this transparency. In Data Governance, you are responsible for the business glossary and data catalogue of SRG and thus ensure a uniform, comprehensible data language throughout the company.

This is your contribution.

• Develop, maintain and expand the SRG-wide business glossary and standardize data definitions across domains
• Define metadata standards and coordinate data lineage documentation across systems and domains
• You act as the business owner of the data catalogue tool: You prioritize the backlog, promote adoption and continuously improve the user experience
• Coordinate automatic metadata acquisition in collaboration with IT and Enterprise Data Architect
• Harmonize metadata across domains in close collaboration with Data Stewards
• They are involved in the community of practice metadata and take over their operational moderation if necessary

• University degree or equivalent education and deep experience in metadata management
• Good understanding of data architectures, processes and models as well as taxonomy and classification and their practical application
• Experience with metadata management and data catalog tools as well as basic knowledge in business owner/backlog management
• knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK knowledge areas, in particular metadata management; CDMP certification is an advantage
• Strong communication and moderation competence in interdisciplinary and cross-functional settings to advise specialist areas in the use, structuring and quality assurance of data
• Very good language skills at level C1 in a national language as well as German and French at least at level B1, English at level B1
