Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopaedic clinics in Switzerland with international recognition. A center for paraplegia is attached.In the wound consultation session and in the plaster room, our patients are looked after safely and professionally.
We are looking for an outpatient consultation session and plaster immediately or by appointment Tasks: • Wound care and assessment, wound debridement and hyperkeratosis in the field of orthopaedics • Identification of risk factors in wound healing disorders • Photo documentation of wounds • Active cooperation with the responsible orthopedist, the interdisciplinary services (gypsum, Balgrist Tec) and the care unit • Advice and support of the nursing staff of the intensive care unit/recreation room and the stations on request regarding wound care, in particular advice for VAC associations • Collaboration in the design, introduction and evaluation of wound concepts/measuring instruments/wound documentation etc. in conjunction with all wound experts of the clinic and the head of care quality and development • Creating plaster casts for secondary care after operations (upper/lower extremities) and full-contact plaster for diabetic fussulcera • Preparation of special immobilizations, such as pelvic pips, corsets, plaster in children Requirements • Completed further training as a certified wound manager or wound manager Wound expert/wound expert SafW • Readiness for continuous training in topics of wound treatment and medical-nursing knowledge • Experience of diabetic foot syndrome desired • Willingness to learn the plaster craft • Working independently in a multi-professional team • High service orientation and professional and social competence • Organizational skills in a lively environment We offer: • Interesting, versatile and responsible task in an innovative company with an appreciative working atmosphere • Above-average support for further education and training • Close cooperation in an interprofessional treatment team (e.g. orthopaedics, orthopaedic footwear technology) • Collaboration in the wound group University Hospital Balgrist • Regular working hours Monday - Friday • Gifted free day for birthday • 50 % discount on the ZVV bonus pass or annual contribution to a general subscription • 20% discount in Balgrist Apotheke AG • Place of work in an attractive location in Zurich with very good connections to public transport Further advantages are just one click away: Attractive offers for our employees
