- In this role, you will be responsible for driving front end sales for large and strategic mining projects, positioning ABB as a full-scope solution provider across the mining value chain.

- In this role, you will be responsible for driving front end sales for large and strategic mining projects, positioning ABB as a full-scope solution provider across the mining value chain.
- You will lead sales activities for complex international opportunities, covering the broader ABB portfolio in electrification, automation and digital solutions. The work model for the role is: Onsite
- This role is contributing to AUPI in Switzerland .
- Main stakeholders are Global Accounts, EPCMs and key Local Business Lines within AUPI . You will be mainly accountable for:
- Driving the sales of strategic mining projects, positioning ABB as a global solution provider.
- Promoting and selling the full ABB portfolio for mining, including high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, variable frequency drives, electrification, automation and digital solutions.
- Leading front end sales activities for large, international mining opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
- Managing capture teams and coordinating multinational and cross-functional resources towards a winning strategy.
- Developing and executing account and opportunity strategies in close collaboration with account managers, EPCMs and local ABB units.
Key requirements
- for the role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry or similar , with a strong track record in sales or execution of complex industrial solutions.
- Proven experience in front end sales, strategic project sales or solution sales in mining or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering , or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated success in leading multinational and multicultural teams in complex project environments.
- Strong functional leadership skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a common strategy and execution plan.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to lead strategic discussions across business units with different priorities and objectives .
- Fluent in English .
- Spanish and/or German would be an advantage.
- Valid work permit for Switzerland or Europe .
