The Department of Forest in the Office of Landscape and Nature is responsible for the protection and sustainable care and use of the forest. With a natural forest management, the Section of State Forest creates quality of life for the population and habitats for wildlife and plants and ensures with a small team the forest education and further education in the canton. Tasks

• You support the training manager in the organization and implementation of the over-farm courses and the qualification procedures
• In the absence of the training manager you are the contact person for the learners, vocational educators and forest workers in questions concerning basic and further education in the forest area
• You work with the organisation of the working world (OdA) Forest Zurich and Schaffhausen
• According to your qualifications you support the Section of State Forest and Training in scheduled projects, topicalities and data collection or environmental education requirements
• Completion of a higher forest education (technical college or forest school) or comparable training
• Experience and joy in the field of activity of forest education
• Initiative, collegial and reliable working methods
• Good IT skills
