You bring in-depth know-how in electrical engineering, electronics or automation, think analytically and like to tackle yourself? As an Electronics Technician (80-100%) from our workshop in Zurich Binz, you ensure that our networked refrigerators and coffee machines run smoothly. In the 12-member technical team, you are the contact point for tricky cases, grows specifically into refrigeration technology and with your knowledge bring the whole team one step further.
Your responsibilities
- Perform demanding error diagnosis and repairs on our refrigerators and coffee machines, in the workshop and on site with our customers
- Precisely find the cause of problems, whether it is hardware, configuration or telemetry, and immediately take the right action.
- As a technical contact, support and advise your colleagues in particularly complex cases
- Reliably inspect new and repaired devices for their electrical safety
- Systematically document recurring errors and create or improve work instructions (SOPs)
- Actively contribute to technical documentation (wire diagrams, risk assessment, NEV/EMV) for our CAREL integration and the POS system
- Develop your expertise in refrigeration technology and share it with the team
What you bring
- Completed training as an electrical installer, assembly electrician, electronics technician or automatic technician EFZ or a comparable qualification
- Min. 5 years of experience in service, repair or troubleshooting of electrical, electronic or electromechanical devices
- Structured, independent working method and enjoyment of sharing technical knowledge in the team
- Advantage: Experience in refrigeration technology
- Prior knowledge in technical documentation, in writing SOPs or in structured root cause analysis
- Valid Swiss driving licence (category B)
- Fluent knowledge of German and good English (our team language)
