For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Regensdorf ZH area, we are looking for an independent, technically skilled and solution-oriented individual as an industrial electrician / industrial automation technician 80100% (m/f).

In this role, you will share responsibility for the electrical availability of the production and operational facilities. You will take care of maintenance, fault rectification and technical optimizations, and ensure that machines and electrical equipment can be operated safely and reliably.

02 Your responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair and servicing of electrical production systems, machines and operating equipment
• Systematic analysis and rectification of electrical and control engineering faults
• Inspection and maintenance of control cabinets, drives, sensors, motors and electrical components
• Carrying out preventive maintenance work to ensure high plant availability
• Troubleshooting based on electrical schematics as well as checking and adapting technical documentation
• Assisting with conversions, expansions and new installations of electrical systems and operating equipment
• Supporting commissioning, functional tests and technical optimizations
• Collaboration with production, mechanical maintenance, engineering and external service partners
• Documentation of completed work, faults and technical measures
• Compliance with applicable safety, quality and operating regulations

04 Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial electrician, automation technician, electrical installer, automation fitter, or in a comparable electrotechnical profession
• Professional experience in industrial electrical work, industrial electrics, or electrical maintenance is an advantage
• Good understanding of electrical systems, control cabinets, motors, sensors and drive technology
• Confident reading of electrical schematics and experience in systematic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and PLCs, such as Siemens S7 or TIA Portal, is an advantage
• Experience with maintenance, repair and technical upkeep of production facilities is an advantage
• Basic mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic knowledge is an additional plus
• Independent, reliable and responsible way of working
• Strong awareness of safety and quality
• Good command of German, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work day shifts, on-call duty or shifts depending on the area of assignment

05 Useful information

You are needed wherever electrical systems must function reliably. Instead of working solely on a project basis, you work close to production and are directly involved when faults occur, during maintenance and in technical improvements.

With your electrical engineering expertise, you make a significant contribution to reducing downtime, increasing operational safety and ensuring the long-term technical availability of the systems.
