The ParaWG residential training in Schenkon, Nottwil and Zurich offers paraplegic people as well as people with cross-sectional symptoms specific learning fields with the aim of living independently and self-determined. ParaWG employees support clients in temporary residential training in promoting their self-competence and self-management.
Tasks: • Responsibility for the resource- and solution-oriented everyday support of people with paraplegia or cross-sectional syndromes during occupational and social integration • Promoting the independence of clients by including the system of origin and helpers and integration into society • Responsibility for planning, developing, implementing and reflecting on measures as well as training units that enable clients to achieve their goals during residential training • Reference work for several clients during residential training at the ParaWG and cooperation with their relatives • Preparation of documentation for the cost carriers • Work in shift work and partly also on weekends as well as takeover of pikett services Requirements • Training as a social pedagogue/in HF/FH or specialist care EFZ with several years of professional experience and preferably experience in dealing with people with paraplegia • Ideally completed IVR1 course or the willingness to complete it • Open, flexible and team capable personality who appreciates interdisciplinary collaboration and a dynamic environment • Flexibility in terms of working hours (e.g. shift work, weekend) • Resilience in dealing with strokes of fate We offer: You not only expect attractive employment conditions, but also numerous other advantages.
