Spitex Glattal is one of the largest Spitex organizations in the Canton of Zurich and fulfills a service mandate to provide care for around 34'000 residents . As a modern and forward-looking organization, we employ around 90 staff members , including 9 FaGe trainees and 3 HF nursing students, as well as 1 FH student . In this varied, responsible role as Education Manager and Nursing Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring and further developing the quality of education and nursing care. You will guide and support our vocational trainers, HF students and FaGe trainees throughout their training and specifically promote their professional and personal development. What you will do with us
- You are responsible for the personnel, operational and professional development of the nursing department, as well as the continuous improvement of the quality of nursing care and the range of services
- You plan, coordinate and further develop the practical training of our HF students and FaGe apprentices and support them in their professional and personal development
- You support and advise vocational trainers and nursing teams on training-related matters and promote the pedagogical skills within the team
- You are responsible for recruiting apprentices, students and employees and foster collaboration with internal and external education partners
- You create an appreciative learning and training culture, promote the next generation of nursing professionals and advocate for future-oriented nursing
- You initiate and support development and change processes and strengthen employees' personal responsibility and self-organization
What you bring
- Trainer with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education and experience supporting HF students and FaGe apprentices
- Diploma as a registered nurse (HF/FH) and several years of professional and leadership experience, with relevant education or further training, ideally in the Spitex sector
- Sound professional nursing expertise as well as strong pedagogical and didactic skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as an empathetic, appreciative and solution-oriented attitude
- Organizational skills, initiative and enthusiasm for actively helping shape development processes
- Enthusiasm for promoting the next generation of nursing professionals and further developing nursing and education
- Driving licence, category B
