From food to computer science projects: Public procurement is versatile and affects a wide variety of areas of the Canton of Zurich. Our Procurement Development department supports directorates, offices and other public institutions in challenging procurement projects. We advise on business issues relating to procurement, accompany public procurement procedures and continuously develop cantonal procurement. Your tasks

• Advising and supporting other administrative units in the planning and implementation of various procurement projects
• Development and implementation of procurement strategies and processes
• Clarification of organisational and system-based requirements for procurement
• Conduct of submissions and public procurement procedures
• Close cooperation and regular exchange with various administrative units Your profile
• University of applied sciences or university degree in business administration, ideally supplemented by knowledge in procurement
• Experience in the design and digitization of processes as well as in dealing with ERP systems
• Analytical and conceptual skills as well as a very precise, structured and result-oriented way of working
• Experience in cross-divisional projects as well as in cooperation with different stakeholders
• Good methodological knowledge, strong self-organization and the ability to keep an eye on several topics at the same time
• Stylistic German in word and writing as well as good English skills

The Cantonal Printed and Materials Centre (kdmz) is a procurement organisation of the Canton of Zurich and is responsible for the procurement of several material groups. Our clients include cantonal bodies, municipalities and other public institutions. The Financial Directorate employs around 1200 people at four locations in Zurich.
