Role overview
The civil engineering office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as the hydraulic engineering and slow transport in Graubünden.
We also take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads on the cantonal territory.
The canton’s road infrastructure comprises over 1,450 artificial buildings, including bridges at airy heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels of up to 3 kilometers in length.
- The civil engineering office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as the hydraulic engineering and slow transport in Graubünden.
- We also take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads on the cantonal territory.
- Creating drafts for main road projects in the study phase with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Adaptation of the project planning basis in the field of road construction
Main responsibilities
- Creating drafts for main road projects in the study phase with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Adaptation of the project planning basis in the field of road construction
- Support of project managers in drawing aspects of subtasks in projects
- Control of plans of third parties for completeness and presentation
- Testing and installing updates of CAD programs Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a draftsman/in civil engineering EFZ
- Several years of professional experience in road projecting
- Experience of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is beneficial Readiness to learn and initiative Enjoying interdisciplinary teamwork
