The Political Clinic for Chiropractic Medicine at the University Hospital of Balgrist in Zurich is the center of competence in German Switzerland for the outpatient treatment of patients with muculoskeletal complaints with a focus on back pain.

Our patients benefit from the proximity to research and teaching as well as the good interprofessional cooperation within the University Hospital of Balgrist.

Tasks

• Head of the Political Clinic for Chiropractic Medicine at the University Hospital of Balgrist
• Direct assistance in the supply
• Representation of the Polyclinic within the University Hospital of Balgrist
• (Co-)Supervision of assistance chiropractors and chiropractors as well as support for chiropractors on assistance and upper level
• Conceptual work in the fields of advanced training and hospital rotation
• Implementation and further development of the offer in the care of patients, for example geriatric and pregnancy, in cooperation with the cadre of the Chiropactic Medicine Department
• Working in deepening and formalizing a biopsychosocial treatment approach Requirements:
• Professional choir, ideally Principal status, or open to become Principal
• Clinical activity in self-responsibility: You want to take responsibility in a small team in order to optimally shape and advance the chiropractic care of patients together with chiropractors at assistant and upper level.

• With your expertise and social skills, you can grasp the needs and concerns of people with back pain and other muscular complaints and use interdisciplinary cooperation.
