Are you seeking a position with scope for design and development opportunities? Then you are exactly right for us! As a Sales Manager (m/w/d) you are responsible for ensuring efficient market development for Rheinmetall Air Defence products in Europe (with focus on Southeast Europe) with the goal of achieving budgeted order intake and contribution margins. Your duties include in particular:

• Building and maintaining personal contacts with customers and representatives with the aim of identifying new projects, realizing existing ones, and cultivating the company and product image on the market
• Actively working the market and implementing country-specific priority objectives
• Assessing the market and identifying projects with the greatest chance of success
• Conducting sales activities defined in the sales process, i.e. product presentations, demonstrations and trials
• Advising customers on deployment, logistics and operational capability improvements as well as preparing sales documentation
• Preparing and conducting contract negotiations up to contract conclusion
• Deploying and managing representatives, consultants and partners in the market
• Collaborating on the preparation of offers and contracts in cooperation with the other Rheinmetall Air Defence business units

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed vocational training and/or university degree as well as business administration further education
• Preferably already demonstrable sales success in Southeast Europe as well as corresponding network in a security-critical environment
• Tactical and technical understanding in the field of ground-based air defense
• Military officer career desired - preferably unit commander (m/w/d) in ground-based air defense
• Secure handling of MS Office applications
• Professional demeanor, communication skills and high intercultural competence
• Negotiating proficiency in German and English (additional languages an advantage)
• Flexibility for regular business travel abroad (travel activities 50-60%)
• Quick grasp, negotiation skills and strong implementation capability
