Full description
For the location of the Healing Education School (HPS) Vogtsrain (1 KoKiga, 1 US and 1 MS class) we are looking for a speech pedagogue immediately or by agreement.
Tasks
- Clarification and diagnosis of the need for therapy of language and communication development-conspicuous students in kindergarten and primary school age
- Speech therapy in individual and group settings
- Integrated logopaedic support
- Counselling and cooperation with the caregivers of the therapy children (parents, teachers and specialists)
- Prevention and expert advice
Profile
- They work independently, independently and impact-oriented
- They are actively involved in interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly and appropriately with different stakeholders such as parents, teachers, curative teachers.
- Joy and skill in dealing with students with special needs (special school status) and openness to contact with people from different cultures
- Experience or interest in supported communication (UK) is desired
- You have a Swiss-recognised diploma in speech therapy (EDK recognition or the willingness to make up for it) as well as pleasure in your profession and desire for something new.

About us
As part of the school office, the Department of Speech Pedagogy of the Primary School of the City of Zurich offers preventive and therapeutic measures with around 140 speech pupils for students with language, speech and communication problems. These offers are available to children and young people of all grades. The city of Zurich’s speech-language teachers work either at a regular school with pupils with and without special school status (ISR) or at locations of the curative school with pupils in separate school settings.
