In our age psychiatry with currently 16 beds older people, usually from the age of 65. Year of life, comprehensively treated and accompanied. The focus is on the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of mental illnesses that occur in connection with age or can be favoured by age-related changes. With professional competence, empathy and a holistic view, you accompany our patients through their individual care and treatment process. You take responsibility for the professional management of care and work closely with the interprofessional treatment team as well as relatives and external partners. Your responsibilities

• Reference personnel work and nursing case management: You plan, control and evaluate the care process of the patients assigned to you.
• Shift responsibility: You coordinate the shift professionally, set priorities and ensure a clear distribution of tasks and delegation within the care team.
• Psychiatric care: You assess the mental state, recognize changes at an early stage and act professionally and appropriately in crises and challenging situations.
• Old-age psychiatric care: They accompany people with different clinical conditions such as dementia, delirium, depression, dependency diseases or psychosis, as well as psychiatric and somatic multimorbidity.
• Family work: They advise and accompany relatives and involve them appropriately in the treatment process.
• Interprofessional cooperation: You contribute your nursing expertise to visits and case discussions and actively participate in the definition and review of treatment goals.
• Exit and transition management: Together with the treatment team, you design viable follow-up solutions, working with Spitex, homes, referees and other external partners. • Completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH; for foreign diploma with corresponding SRC recognition
• Professional experience in the psychiatric field desired
• Willingness for professional development (including full cost coverage of an age-relevant CAS by the Hospital Affoltern)
• Team-oriented, independent and resilient personality
• Enjoyment of cooperation and networking with internal interfaces as well as active engagement in interprofessional cooperation
• Initiative, cooperative and solution-oriented working methods
• High sense of responsibility and the ability to act in a forward-looking and situational manner
