Full description
For the laboratory medicine department at the Triemli site, hematology department, we are looking for a responsible and careful personality by December or by agreement.
Tasks
- You independently carry out sophisticated laboratory analyses in the fields of hematology, hemostasis, immunology and immune hematology in routine and emergency operations.
- You validate and interpret laboratory results, assess their clinical significance and initiate further analyses if necessary.
- You ensure the quality and safety of our analyses and carry out internal and external quality controls.
- You take on tasks related to transfusion, from the control and storage of blood products to the correct delivery of compatible blood products.
- You process bone marrow punctures, carry out capillary blood extractions – also in children – and advise our internal clients competently on preanalysis.
- You work in an interdisciplinary manner, supporting the maintenance of the analysis equipment and helping with quality assurance, process improvements and the training of new employees.
Profile
- You have an education as a biomedical analyst HF or a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics or a foreign degree recognised by the SRC.
- You will bring in-depth practical experience in the laboratory, ideally in hematology and transfusion medicine.
- You also work precisely, reliably and responsibly under time pressure and keep track of challenging situations.
- You can independently analyze technical disruptions and unexpected situations, set priorities and initiate suitable solutions.
- You are team-oriented, communicate openly and appreciate the interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, care, anesthesia and other specialist areas.
- You are ready to take on early, late, night and weekend services and continue to develop professionally.
