Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Tax Office Employees /-in withholding tax limited 12 months 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the canton and the municipalities. We support individuals and companies throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the Altstetten location in Zurich. In the withholding tax team, we ensure that withholding tax declarations are processed correctly and on time. We support employers and taxpayers in their concerns and work closely together as a team. Your tasks:
- Control, recording and assessment of withholding tax statements and processing of the corresponding penalties
- Self-responsible, professional and timely processing of inquiries and correspondence with employers and taxpayers
- Examination and cleaning of personal data as well as control of employment, entries and exits and further mutations
- Examination and processing of objections against withholding tax assessments
- Telephone and written support for employers and taxpayers as well as competent handling of their concerns
- Independent organization and prioritization of the assigned tasks in compliance with the given deadlines Your profile:
- Basic commercial training and initial professional experience, ideally in the tax or trust environment
- Enjoying clear, recurring orders and the ability to keep track even in a high number of cases
- Rapid comprehension and independent, reliable and efficient working methods
- Networked thinking and a good understanding of the effects of your own processing steps on downstream processes
- High IT affinity and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with different specialist applications
- Strong customer orientation and security in making decisions within clear specifications
- Excellent knowledge of German in words and writing as well as a very high degree of linguistic expression security, further language skills are of advantage Our offer:
