Job opening by agreement
The Institute of Medical Genetics of the University of Zurich is involved in research and teaching as well as in the service of patients with ancestral diseases. For the service sector, we are looking for an accredited diagnostic laboratory:n diagnostic staff:in molecular genetics 100% for the genome diagnostics team.
Tasks
The activity mainly comprises
- Evaluation and detection of high-throughput sequencing data (exome and genome analyses)
- Quality control
- Documentation
- General case management
- Own training
- Assistance with research projects when needed
- Establishing new methods as needed
Profile
They should have a scientific degree at master level, be capable of teamwork, conscientious and resilient and seek a demanding job. Experience with molecular genetic analyses and good knowledge of German would be advantageous.
