Role overview

Tasks

• Representing the head of the nursing service during absences and taking on defined tasks
• Responsibility for bed scheduling and coordination of staff deployment within the framework of the approved staffing plan including skill and grade mix
• Direct management and support of the staff in the subordinate areas (hospital hygiene and infection prevention, wound expertise, social counseling and case management) as well as participation in case management.

• Ensuring and further developing the quality of care at the location
• Commitment to the strategic and operational development of interprofessional processes
• Leadership and participation in projects at the location and at the level of Solothurner Spitäler AG in coordination with the head of nursing service as well as ensuring a positive workplace culture at the location and partnership-based cooperation in the interprofessional and interdisciplinary area Profile
• Dipl.

Nursing specialist HF/FH or equivalent training (for foreign diploma with SRK recognition)

• Additional training in management and personnel management in the healthcare sector, preferably an MAS degree or on the way to it
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in the outpatient and inpatient care sector in acute somatics
• Good business management and solution-oriented thinking and action
• High social skills as well as a modern understanding of leadership as a team player, empathetic and resilient personality
• Experience in working with other service providers in the healthcare sector as well as enjoyment of interprofessional and interdisciplinary work
