Full description
The Generali Restaurant in Adliswil consists of the «Al Leone» restaurant as well as a cafeteria with a total of over 400 seats. More than 450 guests are served in the restaurant every day. In addition, individual catering services are also provided on request. True to the ZFV philosophy, fresh food is prepared on site using regional, environmentally sound and fairly traded products. Are you our new team member who will support us as a chef, working 80% starting immediately or by agreement? With us, there is no split shift and no meal deduction.
Your area of responsibility
- Preparation of the mise en place at the assigned station
- Production of dishes at the assigned station (entremetier, gardemanger, saucier, etc.)
- Ensuring sufficient supplies for the menu lines
- Reheating / plating the menus during lunch service
- Assisting with catering events, apéros and special occasions
- Receiving goods and managing the warehouse
- Contributing ideas for menu design
- Ensuring cleanliness and order at the assigned station
- Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work
- Implementing ZFV quality and service standards
Your strengths
- Basic training as a chef: EFZ
- Experience in vegan cuisine is an advantage
- Experience working with apprentices is an advantage
- Good spoken and written German skills
- Enthusiastic «foodie» and connoisseur
- Team player
- Passion for the culinary profession and enjoyment of interacting with guests
