The Clinic for Obstetrics at USZ is one of the leading obstetric centers in Switzerland. It covers the entire spectrum of obstetrics including feto-maternal medicine and offers outpatient prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy care and malformation diagnostics.We offer you the opportunity to take on an obstetric function in university obstetrics. They bear responsibility in everyday clinical life and are actively involved in the care of mother and child as well as in research and teaching. >The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. Tasks: • The independent care of pregnant women and childbearers is just as much part of everyday life as dealing with complex and sensitive situations. • They assume responsibility in particular for risk and multiple pregnancies as well as for surgical delivery. • The close cooperation with midwives, neonatology, anesthesia and other specialist areas is a central part of the work. • You make clinical decisions independently and prioritize them calmly and structured in acute setting. • In further training, you accompany assistant doctors: inside and provide professional orientation. • They are actively involved in the further development of processes and supply quality. • They work with modern infrastructure in a university environment with a broad obstetric spectrum. Requirements • A specialist title in gynecology and obstetrics forms the basis for independently fulfilling clinical responsibility. • They have profound experience in obstetrics, especially in dealing with complex situations. • They bring the ability card pregnancy ultrasound. • Even under time pressure, you make clear and responsible decisions. • Team-oriented work as well as the active formation of cooperation are a matter of course for you. • Interest in university medicine as well as in research and teaching is welcome. • Secure communication in German and English rounds off your profile. • They are ready to take on flexible working hours and shift services.
