As engineers, planners and consultants, we work on all aspects of the technology of civil engineering and civil engineering over the entire life cycle. Our approximately 30 employees at Amstein + Walthert Holding AG provide cross-location services for the entire A+W Group in the areas of finance, HR, legal, IT, marketing & communication as well as corporate development and quality management. To strengthen our legal team in Zurich, we are looking for you as committed and active support. As a legal counsel, you are a trusted contact for our project managers in Switzerland and supports LEGAL in the development and implementation of future-oriented transformation processes. These are your tasks

• You independently advise our project managers and specialist areas within the A+W Group on all legal issues, in particular in central topics such as construction, planning and contract law, public procurement law and company law.
• You will assume strategic leadership in disputes, accompany procedures before authorities and courts and take over the instructions and control of external lawyers
• You contribute to the optimization of the legal infrastructure of the legal department, namely by creating, reviewing and revising contracts and standard templates, regulations and instructions
• You will design and design practical presentations and training courses with which you will convey legal knowledge in an understandable manner and strengthen legal awareness within the A+W Group.
• You are actively involved in LegalTech issues and thus innovatively advance the digitalization of the legal department
• You support the department manager in professional and organizational matters and work with legal monitoring in relation to legal developments and regulatory requirements.
• You have completed a law degree (lic. iur. / MLaw) and preferably acquired the attorney's patent
• You ideally bring your first professional experience in a law firm or company and / or are ready to get motivated and quickly familiar with new areas of responsibility and law.
• You work independently, accurately and solution-oriented and always keep the essentials in mind
• You think entrepreneurially and like to take responsibility
• You communicate clearly and act towards internal contacts: inside service-oriented
• You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing; further language skills (French, English) are advantageous
