We are the team that is driving the transformation in controlling Zurich Switzerland – as part of the Zurich Group's global finance transformation. We provide actual, forward-looking data for P&C, Life and Expenses and provide an efficient data base and correct key figures with our semantic data model.

With Anaplan, we are redesigning our planning and forecasting processes. As a Senior Anaplan Model Builder, you will take on a key role in this: You will build the models for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), connect them to our reporting world around Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Databricks – and pass on your Anaplan knowledge to less experienced colleagues.

That's what awaits you

• You design and build planning, forecasting and simulation models in Anaplan – from model architecture to computation logic to understandable and understandable episodes and dashboards.
• You take on the requirements of our controlling colleagues, structure them and translate them into professional concepts, user stories and scalable model solutions.
• You integrate and automate the Anaplan solution into our reporting infrastructure around Power BI, Microsoft Azure/Fabric, SQL and Databric – for reliable and comprehensible data flows.
• You train juniors and less experienced model builders and act as sparring partners for our internal customers.
• You work closely with Finance, IT, Data Engineers and BI Specialists, as well as with the global Anaplan team, ensuring that our business unit meets requirements and Group standards.

That's what makes you feel

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business informatics, computer science, economics or a comparable education with appropriate specialisation.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Anaplan Model Builder including model design; an Anaplan certification (e.g.Model BLevel 3 or Solution Architect) is a plus.
• A well-founded understanding of finance and controlling: income statement, balance sheet, cost accounting, planning and forecasting processes are familiar to you – ideally from the insurance industry.
• Technical background: SQL, tabular data models and Power BI are familiar to you; experience with Microsoft Azure/Fabric, Databrics, DAX or Python is a plus.
• Clear and addressable communication – on an equal footing with finance and IT – in German and English.
