As part of the Zurich Prisons of Detention (UGZ), Winterthur Prison (GFW) assumes central tasks in the area of detention without judgment. The focus is on pre-trial detention and security detention as well as the reception of persons in provisional detention. A total of 101 detention places are available for this purpose. For the security center of the GFW, we are looking for a physically resilient and committed personality immediately or by agreement. The post shall be limited to one year. You do that with us.

• Monitoring and operation of technical security installations (video surveillance, alarm and access systems)
• Receiving and handling alarm and malfunction messages and taking the necessary measures
• Support and coordination of external forces in the event of security incidents
• Ensuring compliance with security, alert and emergency processes
• Complete documentation of events, reports and specific occurrences
• Completion of administrative work in connection with the operation of the security center
• Completed vocational training, preferably in the security field, technical environment or in a comparable function
• High attention and a strong sense of responsibility and security
• Psychological resilience and the ability to act calmly and deliberately even in demanding situations
• Good IT user knowledge and technical understanding.
• Style-confident knowledge of German in words and writing, further language skills of advantage
