The Altlasten section with its 16 employees is responsible for the investigation, monitoring and rehabilitation of contaminated sites. This ensures that contaminated building waste is rehabilitated as quickly as possible with high urgency, that the resulting contaminated building waste is disposed of in accordance with the law and that the costs are distributed among the polluters. - Administrative support for investigations, renovations and construction projects on contaminated sites
- Management of complex enforcement cases
