Are you looking for a variety of legal issues and an activity directly related to the everyday life of the city of Zurich?
In order to temporarily strengthen our legal service team, we are looking for a dedicated personality who wants to contribute their legal knowledge, take responsibility and support our service departments, school authorities and schools in legal matters.
The position is limited in time until the end of February 2027, with the option of extension until the end of May 2027. The workload is 50-90%. The job starts as soon as possible or by agreement.
Tasks
- They advise and support our service departments, school authorities and schools on a wide range of legal issues in public law. Depending on your knowledge and interests, you will focus on general administrative law, public personnel law, school law, submission law and / or data protection law.
- They deal with reassessment and recourse proceedings and represent the department’s concerns in appeal proceedings before the City Council, District Council and Education Directorate.
- They draw up orders and resolutions for the department head, the city council and the school authorities.
Profile
- You have a university degree in law (Bachelor or Master).
- They bring their first professional experience, ideally in public law.
- Knowledge of public personnel law, school law, submission law and / or data protection law are advantageous.
- They work independently, efficiently and solution-oriented, remain resilient even in demanding situations and convince through teamwork as well as good communication and negotiation skills.
