Company and context
- For the GZW Pre-trial Detention Department, we are looking for a motivated and future-oriented co-execution management with a modern organizational understanding. This is your field of action
- In this co-management, you are responsible for the professional and organizational management of the enforcement department with around 44 employees
- You ensure a legally compliant, humane and orderly prison system, including compliance with detention forms and the exercise of the duty of care towards detained persons
- You are the central point of contact for the concerns of the detained persons and take on administrative tasks to optimize the processes and ensure appropriate employment opportunities
- You ensure compliance with disciplinary requirements, coordinate the procedure in emergency situations, take responsibility for reporting and actively participate in the disciplinary system
- With the interprofessional support team (supervision/accompanying, work, medical and psychiatric service, social service, administration) you work closely to solve complex cases and support sustainable decisions in the sense of a development-oriented pre-trial detention.
- You are responsible for the professional education and training of the team, actively participate in the training of new employees and support projects and strategic tasks of the management.
- In addition, you are ready to perform piquetting services (night, holidays and weekends) You bring that with you
- You have a federal certificate of ability or an equivalent degree as well as a further education as a professional / prison professional.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience, including 3 years in the prison or equivalent
