Client representatives/project managers — UBS

Description

You lead as a client representative: into the development and execution of complex and demanding conversion and repair projects in the existing building and ensure that a user-friendly and sustainable solution is created from a feasibility idea. They actively advise future internal users, capture their diverse needs, create process concepts, review feasibility and cost-effectiveness. With your service-oriented action, you develop optimal solutions for our company. They evaluate and control the external architects and planners, also in the construction work. They accompany the multi-stage planning procedures and are negotiating partners for authorities and representatives. You will be supported by in-house and external specialists.

In this exciting function, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensures the professional execution and goal-oriented implementation of mandated construction projects (delivery within the specified deadlines, costs, quality and corresponding risk Mgmt.)
• Performs the function of UBS client representative (BHV) on behalf of Switzerland Real Estate & Services (SRES) in construction projects
• As part of the construction mandate, UBS represents internal and external stakeholders (coordination of the UBS functions involved, users, local authorities and suppliers)
• Conducts construction projects according to UBS standards
• Reports in the BHV function to the project steering committee or line responsibility
• Leads, coordinates and controls all external partners, suppliers and contracted third parties
• Secures the planning, realization, processing and the structured transfer to the FM operation incl. Builder documentation and timely transfer of business
• Due to strong project management skills, is also able to lead projects of adjacent real estate service areas
