As Claims Performance Manager Motor Vehicles, you will strengthen the Claims Business Unit in the area of performance management, Claims Performance & Analytics, at Zurich Switzerland and will be responsible for the performance control of our largest claims line. You work at the interface between claims processing, underwriting, actuarial and analytics, organize complex data and derive concrete recommendations and measures from it. In this way, you support the continuous development of claims processing and make an important contribution to the strategic goals of Zurich Switzerland.

This is what awaits you

• You are responsible for the performance control in the motor vehicle sector, develop and monitor KPIs and derive concrete measures for damage expenditure, efficiency, leakage and customer satisfaction.
• You analyze large data stocks independently with SQL as well as Python or PySpark and continuously develop data-based analysis approaches.
• You accompany the annual planning and control process and follow the implementation of the agreed operational and financial measures.
• You create meaningful reporting for internal stakeholders and group claims, represent the underlying figures and ensure the necessary governance.
• You work closely with line managers, claims processing, underwriting, actuarial and analytics and connect department, data and control needs.

This sets you apart

• University degree in economics, statistics, data science, (economic) mathematics or a comparable subject area.
• Several years of experience in non-life insurance, ideally in the property or performance environment, for example in motor vehicles, property or liability.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and Python as well as experience with large databases and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to understand complex analyses, derive clear recommendations and represent them convincingly to leaders.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working methods as well as stylish German and English skills
