About Swiss Re's Graduate Programme for Early-Career Talent

Main responsibilities

  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage a portfolio of claims from first notification through final resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent claim handling.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle mortality, group life, accidental death, disability income, and waiver of premium claims.
  • Analyze policy terms, coverage provisions, and claim documentation to determine eligibility and claim outcomes.
  • Conduct detailed claim investigations, evaluate medical and financial information, and document claim files appropriately.

  • Our team is responsible for managing and resolving Life & Health claims while supporting clients, underwriters, and business partners with technical expertise and thoughtful guidance.

  • Have completed, or are about to complete, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Pre-Law, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Have no more than three years of professional experience.
  • Are intellectually curious about insurance, risk management, and the role claims plays in helping clients navigate complex and meaningful life events.
  • Bring strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information and make sound decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and business partners.
