  • The SBB Infrastructure division is responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of the infrastructure, and the “Network design, facilities and technology” area ensures strategic and technological asset management.
  • The “Engineering” department is responsible for the SBB-wide specialist management of tunnels, bridges, supporting structures, earthworks, noise barriers, drinking water supply systems and wastewater disposal systems for engineering structures.
