Deli Factory, the innovative food competence center of the Migros Zurich cooperative, produces needs-based assortments and modular products for the Migros Group. For our team, we are looking for a motivated, experienced leader with a passion for food, organizational talent and experience in the production of large quantities.

• Operational management: Ensuring the production process, leading the team in shift operations and deputising for the chef.
• Production and process responsibility: You plan, control and optimize production processes and ensure correct machine use.
• Personnel management and training: You guide employees, train them in everyday work and promote a positive team culture.
• Quality, hygiene and safety: You ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Administrative tasks: You provide support with operational planning, shift organization, forecasts and key figures.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience: as Chef de Partie, sous chef or team leader in a production kitchen or gastronomy
• Completed apprenticeship (EFZ): as cook
• You have experience in food production, gastronomy or community catering
• You have leadership experience and understand how to motivate and guide employees
• You work in a structured, responsible way and keep an overview even in hectic situations
• You know the requirements for hygiene, quality and safety and implement them consistently
• You bring organizational skills as well as a safe handling of production processes and planning
• You have a good knowledge of modern cooking and production processes such as sous vide, cook & chill and bulk production.
• German (very good knowledge)

Recruitment process
