Tasks

• Professional, personnel and organizational leadership of the Department of Cardiology with the main topics: General cardiology, heart failure, pacemaker implantations, cardiac imaging (CT, MRI) and outpatient rehabilitation
• Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based and economic cardiological care for the Zurich Underland
• Further development of ambulatory and stationary services as well as diagnostic and therapeutic processes
• Promotion, coaching and development of medical and medical staff as well as active participation in education and training
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with the departments of the hospital, participation in the service of the Klinik Medizin as well as partnership-based networking with family doctors, referrals and regional partners
• Co-shaping the strategic development of Klinik Medizin and cardiological care in the Zurich Underland

Requirements

• Specialist title Cardiology and Specialist title General Internal Medicine or equivalent recognised qualification
• Several years of clinical experience with proven expertise in outpatient and inpatient cardiology
• Integrative leadership competencies as well as pleasure in promoting employees and living a value- and strength-oriented leadership culture
• High social skills, strong communication and enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong understanding of quality and services
