Emergency practice at the Children's Hospital Zurich, operation 365 days in shift work, assignment times spread throughout the week (Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 23.00, on weekends and public holidays from 09.00 to 23.00)

Your tasks

• You are part of the leadership team of the emergency practice and actively contribute your perspective to decisions and the further development of the practice.
• Together with the overall management, you take over the professional and organizational leadership of the MPA team and ensure a well-organized everyday work.
• You represent the concerns of the MPA team in the management team and ensure a transparent flow of information to the entire team.
• You coordinate the different areas of responsibility in the MPA team and accompany and support your colleagues in everyday life.
• You will lead the location discussions of the MPA team and participate in recruitment, introduction and familiarization processes.
• Together with the overall management, you lead team meetings and actively work on projects and further education.
• You actively participate in the optimization of processes as well as the quality development and assurance in emergency practice.
• You are an important contact person for MPA-specific concerns and promote an open, appreciative and constructive cooperation in the interprofessional management team.

Your profile

• Completed training as MPA, FaGe or nurse, ideally with at least two years of professional experience as MPA
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working method
• Strong communication, team and leadership skills
• Professional, appreciative and empathetic attitude towards employees, patients and their caregivers
• Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic working environment with changing workloads
• Rapid comprehension, safe appearance and a high willingness to take responsibility
• Sovereign and solution-oriented handling of challenging and complex situations
• ability to reflect and readiness for personal and professional development in the leadership role
