For our acute wards S2 and T2 we are looking for a
The acute wards S2 and T2 are aimed at people in exceptional psychiatric situations who are in need of immediate help. We offer professional support to these people. We provide help in the acute phase. This includes emergency psychiatric care with careful diagnostics, appropriate treatment and a rapid clarification of the social situation. The goals of the treatment are the reconstruction of everyday skills, the development of possible coping strategies and the stabilization of self-esteem.
The wards have different treatment focuses
S2: Psychosis T2: Affective disorders
Both wards work with the Safewards model and are usually open-ended.
Your tasks Flexibility and enjoyment of variety are central points. Because that is exactly what working in acute psychiatry means.
If this applies to you, here are some of the most important tasks:
- Caregiver work: We treat our patients individually according to their needs and maintain contact with their relatives
- In addition to the individual discussions, group offers take place, which are also led by the nursing staff
- Our interprofessional cooperation is a huge strength and distinguishes us. Active participation and participation are central components of this cooperation
- Since we work with permanent night watches, you will be deployed in a two-shift system (early and late shift). If you still want to do a few nights, that is certainly possible.
Your profile Professional competence, service orientation and a lot of humor are the most important qualities you need to have. With these qualities, we achieve the best treatment results for our patients and the team is happy that you will become a part of them.
If you have experience in nursing but not in the field of psychiatry, it is still possible to join. It is then crucial that you have a lot of motivation and commitment to acquire the specific skills. As part of our wide range of internal courses and generous participation in further education and training, you can get to know the various therapy methods and then apply them yourself. Of course, you will also be supported by your new colleagues.
Our offer
- Innovative employer with a strong interprofessional cooperation
- Very good development opportunities with generous support in further education and training
- Various discounts (e.g. with Reka checks, health-promoting offers, selected leisure activities and online shops)
- 5 weeks of vacation, from the 50. 27 days of age and from 60. Age 32 days

We would be happy to present our benefits for employees in a job interview.

What salary does Clienia AG offer for this role?
The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Pfäffikon is CHF 91'500 - 128'000 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by Clienia AG. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.

This listing is a part-time and full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with Clienia AG during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Zürich?
EU/EFTA residents living in the border zone of the country adjoining Canton Zürich can apply for a G permit; the Swiss employer files it with that canton's migration office after the contract is signed. Border-zone rules and processing times vary by neighbouring country and canton, so confirm the specifics with Zürich's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
