Multitasking, responsibility, meaningfulness - Welcome to the largest operational control centre in Switzerland! In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a networked, committed personality on 1 February 2027 or by agreement.
Tasks
- You dispatch the rescue services in the cantons of Zurich, Schaffhausen, Zug and Schwyz and apply the legal and operational requirements.
- You alert the fire departments and the civil protection in the canton of Zurich as well as numerous other specialist institutions, the Grosstier rescue service, etc.
- You have the overview of all rescue forces in use as well as the free resources, which are available for further alarms.
- You recognize underserved regions in the distribution area and react proactively and adequately to ensure emergency services at all times.
- You communicate clearly, friendly, purposefully and maintain a partnership-based and solution-oriented cooperation within the operational control centre and with our partners.
Profile
- Completed training as a Dipl. RF paramedic (mandatory requirement)
- Operational experience in the scheduling area of our operational control centre as well as knowledge of the legal basis of the rescue system
- The ability to correctly assess situations based on facts, to draw the right conclusions from them, to make decisions and to derive conscious actions from them (triagulate, prioritize, delineate)
- Safe appearance, a team-oriented way of working as well as strong communication and disposition skills
