The Zurich Forest is a recreational space, habitat for flora and fauna and at the same time an important supplier of wood. The approximately 90 employees of the forest department are committed daily to the sustainable care and use of the forest in the canton of Zurich. Your tasks
- Accompanying, processing and supporting forest planning processes
- Planning and organizing forest conservation work together with the forest areas
- Prepare and technically assess forest values
- Support the two forestry communities in the implementation of forest law
- Help shape forestry consultancy and combine different interests into viable solutions
- degree as forester HF, forestry engineer FH/ETH or equivalent training and sound practical forestry experience
- Strong social and communication skills and enjoy working with different stakeholders
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working method with the ability to work on several projects and processes in parallel
- Safe appearance and the ability to represent professional concerns objectively and convincingly
