• You develop and implement category strategies and control your assigned procurement categories throughout their strategic lifecycle.
• You use spending, market, supplier and demand data analytics to identify potential savings, minimize risks and make informed procurement decisions.
• You design, maintain and optimize KPI dashboards, benchmarks and business cases to support informed decision-making.
• You drive product standardization, portfolio optimization and data harmonization initiatives to increase efficiency and unlock synergies across the enterprise.
• You lead cross-functional initiatives and convince decision makers in procurement, hospitals, supply chain management and corporate functions to achieve measurable business outcomes. ##
• Your profile
• You have a university degree in business administration, supply chain management, pharmacy, life sciences or a related field, ideally supplemented by professional certifications in the areas of strategic procurement or category management.
• You bring at least five years of experience in category management, ideally in healthcare or another complex and regulated environment.
• You have strong analytical skills and proven expertise in spending analysis, KPI management, statistics and data-driven decision-making.
• You move confidently in complex stakeholder environments, create consensus between different stakeholders and confidently communicate with decision-makers at management level.
• You work in a structured, self-responsible and solution-oriented way, have profound knowledge of SAP MM and Microsoft Office and combine a commercial mindset with outstanding implementation strength, project management skills and strong communication skills in German and English.
