As a competence center, the Commissariat Digital Investigation Services not only offers digital trace detection, reports and data analyses from a single source, but also conducts its own investigations in the field of cyber, is operationally active on the front lines and regularly performs advisory functions. Innovation is our top priority.

The Cyber Department of the City Police of Zurich is a specialized criminal investigation service that deals with cybercrime and related crimes as well as partial investigations in the cyber area for the benefit of other services. To this end, the section works closely with the public prosecutor's office and other internal and external police departments.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the human, technical, administrative and operational management of the expert group with the two areas Cybercrime and Digitalized Crime
• Ensuring professional specialised criminal police services in the field of cyber
• Cooperation and cooperation with the Cantonal Police of Zurich, the investigating authorities and other interface partners
• Ensuring complex partial investigations in cyberspace in the case of crimes, preliminary investigations or security with investigation approaches in cyberspace
• Development of processes and solutions for complex partial investigations in cyberspace

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the IT sector or completed police training (policeman’s ID card) with IT training and very good knowledge of German and English
• Other languages are beneficial
• Experience in the criminal police field, expertise and further training in the cyber field
• Leadership experience and high creative will, empathetic, trustworthy and authentic
• Willingness to cooperate, determined and competent in negotiations with external and internal partners
• Interest in the agile development of solutions to combat cybercrime as well as complex partial investigations in cyberspace
