Main responsibilities
- You take on business requirements for optimization, innovation and development around strategic purchasing, question them, structure and cluster them into individual projects
- You will carry out evaluations, researches and concept analyses regarding purchasing and provide recommendations for further developments and the use of existing tools.
- You drive the purchasing roadmap and innovation projects from the business side and prioritize them in coordination with the Head of Platform and the Product Owner
- Together with Data Scientists, you will develop reporting to facilitate easy monitoring and controlling of the entire purchasing process
- By optimizing the working methods and tools available in purchasing, you will help reduce financial storage risk, use storage capacities efficiently and increase the overall profitability of the value chain.
- You ensure the interface between engineering teams and category management in the subject area you are responsible for
- You will train our Category Business Managers, provide support with questions and provide complete know-how documentation
- You ensure stakeholder management and the involvement of eligible stakeholders and convince through clear communication and expertise in your field
- You promote the exchange of knowledge among business engineers beyond your own areas of responsibility Requirements
- More than 5 years of professional experience: as a business engineer, product owner, e-commerce category manager or in similar positions
