In your role as Business Analyst at Zurich Switzerland, you will strengthen the Information & Technology division in the Solution Domain P&C and make a decisive contribution to joint success with your work.

You will become part of one of Zurich Switzerland’s most important strategic P&C initiatives, in which we design and implement future products, processes and technologies. As a business analyst with a focus on integration, you play a central role at the interface between the professional and IT worlds: you analyze processes and system interfaces, create well-founded integration specifications and work together with development teams and stakeholders to ensure that our systems work seamlessly together along the value chain.

This is what awaits you

• You will analyze and document process and interface requirements between Guidewire and adjacent Zurich systems along the P&C value chain
• Create precise integration specifications, such as API definitions, data flows and mappings, as the basis for implementation by development teams
• You’ll work closely with product owners, solution architects, development teams and subject matter experts to ensure smooth end-to-end processes
• Translate complex integration requirements into actionable user stories and support the team during implementation, integration tests and go-live
• You coordinate requirements across different systems, teams and departments and are the central contact for integration issues

This sets you apart

• You have completed studies, for example in business informatics, computer science or business administration, or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience as a business analyst or requirements engineer in an agile environment.
• You will bring deep experience in the analysis and specification of system integrations, such as REST/SOAP APIs, event-based architectures, message queues, data flows and mappings
• You have proven experience in the insurance environment, ideally with Guidewire systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform or Integration Gateway and their integration into complex IT architectures
• You convince with strong analytical and conceptual skills, a structured way of working and the ability to convey technical issues appropriately to the addressee
• You have very good knowledge of German and/or English at level C1/C2
