- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in backend development
- Expert proficiency in C# within large-scale, enterprise-grade systems; solid experience in Java (plus)
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in backend development
- Expert proficiency in C# within large-scale, enterprise-grade systems; solid experience in Java (plus)
- Deep hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and MongoDB, including performance tuning, query optimization, and data modelling
- Strong background in event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ, and building high-performance APIs via gRPC and GraphQL
- Proven experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments, collaborating with global teams across time zones (e.g., Switzerland and Singapore)
- Skilled in cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and managed services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus)
- Committed to software excellence – experienced in code reviews, CI/CD, and enforcing engineering best practices Desirable qualifications:
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling (npm/yarn, Webpack) for full-stack contributions
Application process
- Drive containerization initiatives using Kubernetes to modernize application architecture
- Build and optimize backend services and APIs, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and data integrity
- Collaborate closely with traders, business stakeholders, and developers to gather requirements and deliver innovative features
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, PI planning, and cross-location team alignment within Markets
- Ensure code quality and ownership through peer reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to best practices
- Integrate core systems with third-party services, enabling seamless data exchange across platforms
- Provide responsive first-line support and troubleshooting across development and production environments
- Contribute to front-end improvements using JavaScript and React (a strong advantage, though not required)
