Tasks

• Your job is anything but ordinary: As an automatic technician in the maintenance tram, you and your colleagues ensure that our trams remain in motion – and that you move the whole of Zurich.
• What is your everyday life like? You perform maintenance and troubleshooting on rail vehicles, schedule and monitor entries and exits of the tram vehicles or provide emergency and troubleshooting services.
• In addition, you can expect driving assignments as a tram driver – including passenger transport. Not an everyday task! In order to live up to this responsibility – after all, you are responsible for people and vehicles – you complete two driving aptitude diagnostic tests and a trusted medical examination before the initial consultation.
• After an extensive application process, a varied job with exciting career prospects awaits you. All tasks are performed in shift service, based on annual planning. This means that you already know how to work in 12 months and can plan your private life accordingly.

Profile

• Successfully completed training as an automatic engineer EFZ, electromechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ or machine mechanic (assembly).
• Cat. B driving licence for passenger cars (and a corresponding vehicle for travelling in shift operation).
• Willingness to work flexibly in terms of location and time.
• Independent working methods as well as customer and team orientation.
• Readiness for shift work (4-shift operation, also on weekends and public holidays).

However, some tests are necessary for this - after successful examination of the application dossier and before the interview.
