Full description
You will become part of a growing actuarial consulting team that supports leading Swiss life and reinsurance companies in strategic transformation projects. The team works at the interface of actuarial expertise, technology and business change, helping insurers modernize their core systems, processes and actuarial functions. We combine deep technical knowledge with concrete project work and invest in thought leadership: our recent work on Markov-based inventory management systems was presented at the SAV station colloquium and is publicly available (pwc.ch/en/insights/risk/markov-models.html).
- Advise leading Swiss life and reinsurance companies on strategic transformation projects: system migrations, process modernization and redesign of actuarial functions.
- Bring active expertise to multidisciplinary teams and work across all departments: actuarial, IT, finance, underwriting. Who brings the numbers, connects.
- Lead international project streams and smaller project teams with responsibility for scope, delivery and customer relationship.
- Contribute to the further development of our advisory services in the field of life insurance and support the establishment and expansion of customer relationships.
- Drive thought leadership: publish, present and shape the professional community.
- University degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or natural sciences.
- 5–8 years of active professional experience in the Swiss life insurance market (insurance, reinsurance or consulting).
- Actuary/in SAV or equivalent international qualification.
- You built your first AI agent in VS Code or Cursor. You don’t wait until someone gives you a tool. You build what you need.
- First leadership and project management experience, ideally in larger transformation programs.
- Negotiable in German and English. Other languages are a plus.
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS) or experience with process automation/orchestration (e.g. Camunda) are beneficial.
