For the new overall urban organizational unit of school social work since August 2023, which is part of the department of child and youth welfare of the social services, we are looking for the provision of the services of school social work in the school district Schwamendingen, in the school house Saatlen on 1st December. December 2026 or by arrangement a new team member.

Tasks

• They advise and accompany children and parents from different cultures.
• They support the school management and the school staff of the two school buildings with social issues.
• They develop targeted measures and solutions on topics such as child protection, bullying, violence and addiction.
• They initiate internal and cross-school projects.
• They ensure the flow of information between school, social centre and private institutions.
• In Saatlen, school social work has been established for years.

Profile

• You bring a university degree in social work. A CAS in school social work is beneficial
• You ideally have experience in school social work or in the field of youth and family help
• You enjoy working interdisciplinary, networked and resource-oriented
• You are an open, sociable and independent personality and are confident in dealing with changes
• Saatlen becomes one of the largest educational centers in the city of Zurich and is currently under reconstruction. They are interested in accompanying the children and young people as well as the school team in this development and in shaping it in the area of the SSA.
