Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Career Advice Social Worker in Youth and Family Advice, kjz Winterthur, 60 - 90% The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling of the Education Directorate provides, appoints, controls and coordinates offers of child and youth welfare and vocational counselling. The kjz Winterthur (Children and Youth Assistance Centre) is a polyvalent counselling centre for families, parents, adolescents, children and young children and works on the basis of the Children and Youth Assistance Act of the Canton of Zurich. The youth and family counselling (JFB) of kjz Winterthur is looking for a social worker 60 - 90% as a relief on January 2027. The post is limited to one year with an option of renewal. As an assistant, you carry out child protection measures under civil law, carry out child welfare assessments on behalf of KESB and advise families, children and young people on their assignments. The consultations cover a wide range of topics on family organisation, upbringing, separation and divorce, visitation rights issues and child protection issues. Good and close cooperation with authorities, schools, institutions and specialist bodies is very important. They bring with them:
